A great reference that includes a wealth of information. Manual cover the component parts of the .45-70 Trapdoor Rifle and Carbine their screw-driver, tumbler-punch, main-spring vise, the headless shell extractor, and the wooden wiping (cleaning) rod. Includes a section on the Care of Arms in Service with directions for using the Springfield breech-loading system etc. Discusses the Cartridge and has a memoranda of trajectory. The valuable reference does not end with the Trapdoors; it also covers the component parts of the Colt Single Action Army Revolver Caliber .45 and the Schofield-Smith and Wesson Army Revolver caliber 45. Also includes a section on their Memoranda of Trajectory. Very good condition, clean pages. Book is intact with three fold out plates.
